KJ APA & ISABEL MAY TO JOIN DC UNIVERSE, CAST IN 'WONDER TWINS' MOVIE!
Warner Bros. has cast actors KJ Apa and Isabel May in the upcoming live-action DC film 'Wonder Twins' for HBO Max.The picture will be directed and scripted by Adam Sztykiel, with Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey producing, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Wonder Twins are alien siblings named Zan and Jayna who first appeared in Hanna-1970s Barbera's 'The All-New Super Friends Hour' as juvenile companions to elder heroes such as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. "Wonder Twin power, activate!" the twins' tagline is well-known.'The Batman' was Warner Bros' most recent movie, while the animated DC picture 'League of Super-Pets,' 'Black Adam,' and 'Shazam! Fury of the Gods' are among the studio's next projects. May is best recognized for her role as Elsa Dutton in the 'Yellowstone' prequel '1883,' in which she received critical acclaim. Apa rose to prominence on the CW's 'Riverdale,' where he played Archie Andrews, a comic book character. He also starred in the pandemic thriller 'Songbird,' directed by Michael Bay.
