ROBERT DOWNEY JR HAS A FULL HEAD OF WHITE HAIR FOR 'OPPENHEIMER'!
Robert Downey Jr. is a master at morphing for his film roles, as he demonstrated once again on Tuesday, April 12 when he was sighted filming in New York. As he worked on a scene with Cillian Murphy for Christopher Nolan's new historical drama Oppenheimer, the 57-year-old thespian appeared unrecognizable, wearing a full head of white hair.
In a pair of high-waisted slacks, suspenders, and a tie, the Marvel star dressed suitably for the period piece. As he shared the stage with Cillian, who was dressed in a brown trench coat, hat, and matching suit, his spectacles added to his more mature appearance. According to reports, Robert will play former US Secretary of Commerce Lewis Strauss in the film, which is set to release in 2023. Cillian will play J. Robert Oppenheimer, the American physicist known as the "father of the atomic bomb," in the film. Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Matt Damon, Rami Malek, and Jack Quaid round out the cast. The film is directed by Nolan and is based on Kai Bird's and Martin J. Sherwin's book "American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer."
