JoJo Siwa has withdrawn from Will Smith's forthcoming film.The 18-year-old actress was slated to feature in the forthcoming film Bounce, which is based on Megan Shull's novel of the same name.Will's production business, Overbrook Entertainment, was intended to work with Paramount Pictures to create the film.

It was formally confirmed on Wednesday, April 6th, that JoJo and Paramount had split ways with Bounce.The film was taken off the development docket by Paramount, although Variety reports that the project broke apart months ago and had nothing to do with Will's Oscars incident.JoJo gave an update on Bounce while attending the 2022 GLAAD Media Awards last weekend, saying, "That project got put on hold, and eventually went away."
