Noah Beck is set to star in a major motion picture! According to Deadline, the 20-year-old TikTok sensation has been cast in his debut film, The QB Bad Boy and Me.Noah will play quarterback Drayton Lahey in the forthcoming rom-com, which is based on Tay Marley's Wattpad book of the same name.
The plot revolves around "Dallas Bryan," a high school cheerleader who is enamored with the art of dancing and aspires to utilize it to escape her boring rural town. Bryan has her eyes set on a prestigious CalArts dancing scholarship, and nothing—or no one—will get in her way. That is, until Drayton Lahey (Beck), the standout high school quarterback, smashes into her life."Noah will also serve as a producer on the project, with Aron Levitz and Lindsey Weems Ramey of Wattpad Webtoon Studios, as well as Adam Wescott, Nick Phillips, and McKenna Marshall of Creator+.
"I'm ecstatic to be working with such a talented group, and I'm privileged to be bringing Tay's beloved narrative and characters to life," Noah said. "I can't wait to get started on the project and get into all of the creative components."
No director or extra cast members have been announced as of yet. The script is being written by Mary Gulino.Noah previously dabbled in acting in an episode of Nickelodeon's Side Hustle after revealing his desire to pursue acting in an interview.
