WILL SMITH 'SLAPS' CHRIS ROCK ON OSCARS 2022 STAGE AFTER JADA PINKETT SMITH JOKE!
The world's most famous slap. At the 2022 Oscars on Sunday, March 27, Will Smith surprised the star-studded audience — and everyone watching at home — when he came to the stage and hit Chris Rock across the face after the comedian made a "joke" about Jada Pinkett Smith's hair loss.
"I love you, Jada," the comedian exclaimed from the stage, adding, "G.I. Jane 2, can't wait to watch it," referring to the actress' buzzed hairdo, which was identical to that of G.I. Jane star Demi Moore. (Pinkett Smith, 50, has been open about her alopecia for a long time.)
As the camera turned to the Smiths, the 53-year-old star of King Richard — who went on to win an Oscar for best actor — seemed to chuckle at Rock's joke, while Pinkett Smith rolled her eyes dramatically. Though it appeared like Smith was amused by the remark at first, he swiftly came onstage and slapped the 57-year-old Longest Yard actor across the face. "Keep my wife's name out of your f–king lips," he shouted as he returned to his seat.

“Wow. "Will Smith just knocked the s–t out of me," Rock told the audience before returning to awarding the best documentary prize. When winning his Oscar for King Richard, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum mentioned — and apologized for — the scuffle in his speech.
