DADDY YANKEE ANNOUNCES HE'S RETIRING FROM MUSIC!
"Today I publicly declare my retirement from music by giving you my best production and my greatest concert tour," continued Yankee, who launched his debut album, "No Mercy," in 1995 and rose to international fame with the famous "Barrio Fino" a few years later. On Thursday night, Yankee, whose actual name is Ramón Luis Ayala Rodrguez, will unveil "Legendaddy," a "collector's item" that will comprise all of the styles that have distinguished him. "'Legendaddy' is struggle, party, battle, and romance," he stated of the album, which is his first in ten years since "Prestige" in 2012.
In the summer, he will embark on "La ltima Vuelta," a 41-city tour that will begin on August 10 in Portland, Oregon and will take him across the United States, Canada, and Latin America, culminating on December 2 in Mexico City. The pre-sale will begin on Friday, while the regular sale will begin on March 30.
"I always worked hard not to let you down, not to search for issues, to be able to motivate youngsters to be leaders, to dream of progress, to not worry about constraints, and to work for their families and their people," stated the "King of Reggaeton."
