Pete Davidson has declined a brief trip to space aboard a Jeff Bezos rocket. Bezos' space travel business stated Thursday night that the Saturday Night Live star is no longer able to make the voyage, which has been delayed for nearly a week. There were no more details offered.

Davidson will be one of six passengers on Blue Origin's next journey, the company revealed earlier this week. The event was originally set for next Wednesday, but has been rescheduled for March 29 to allow for extra testing, according to the business. For the 10-minute voyage from West Texas, Davidson would have been the third celebrity to board a Blue Origin automated capsule. Last year, actor William Shatner and former NFL great and GMA co-host Michael Strahan flew together. Last July, Bezos flew on his company's first passenger flight.

In the following days, the business claimed it will reveal Davidson's replacement to join the five paying passengers. Bezos had invited Davidson as a guest. The ticket price for paying clients has not been revealed by the corporation. Davidson, who is presently dating reality star Kim Kardashian, created and starred in "The King of Staten Island," a semi-autobiographical film that was released in 2020.
