Daniel Radcliffe has had an unusual career independent flicks and quirky parts after concluding his legendary tenure as Harry Potter. Radcliffe was questioned about his desire to take on another property, notably Marvel, while promoting his portrayal as a wicked millionaire in The Lost City. In a recent interview at SXSW, Comicbook.com mentioned that the Brit has been a popular fancast to play Wolverine when the X-Men make their way into the MCU. "'Hey dude, heard the Wolverine news,' people say to me all the time. That's really fantastic,' says the narrator "According to Radcliffe. "And I'm like, 'Mate, it's not, I haven't got a clue.'"
I'm sure someone is thinking, 'Wolverine is genuinely short in the comic books, you should hire a short person to do it!'" he added. "But I don't see myself or them going from Hugh Jackman to me," she says. Jackman portrayed the role in nine films before concluding his story with Logan.
