LOS ANGELES – Actor Jamie Dornan has joined the cast of the international spy thriller 'Heart of Stone,' following his Oscar-nominated performance in 'Belfast.'
According to Variety, the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' actor joins previously revealed ensemble member Gal Gadot in the Netflix and Skydance project.
Tom Harper, who is most known for his work on Amazon's 'The Aeronauts,' will direct the film, which is based on a story by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder.
Skydance's David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger, as well as Mockingbird's Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn, and Gadot and her husband Jaron Varsano via company Pilot Wave, are producing "Heart of Stone."
Along with Harper and Rucka, Patty Whitcher acts as an executive producer.
Dornan has been praised for his performance as Pa in Kenneth Branagh's semi-autobiographical film "Belfast." The actor has been nominated for Critics' Choice and Golden Globe awards for best supporting actor.
