Fans of Travis Scott are gathering around him, asking that he play at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2023.
James Connors, a Scott fan, started a Change.org petition to have the rapper headline the event in 2023, or for Kanye West to invite him out as a guest when he performs this year.
"After Coachella wrongfully withdrew Travis Scott in favor of Harry Styles, they must do the right thing and quickly rebook him," the petition states. The signature has over 70,000 signatories at the time of writing, barely shy of the 75,000 objective.
Scott was pulled from the Coachella program in December after another Change.org petition urged that he be removed from the festival's lineup following the deaths of ten people and the injuries of many more at his Astroworld Festival in Houston on Nov. 5. The petition demanded that Scott be dropped by Goldenvoice, AEG, and festival co-founder Paul Tollett, stating that the rapper had shown "gross irresponsibility and blatant lack of regard for human life."
