However, a month after its premiere, the Marvel movie phenomenon is beginning to fade,

With a predicted $30.6 million weekend, the new Scream, co-directed by Matt Bettinelli-

Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Ready or Not), is poised to claim the top spot. It's a spectacular

return for the meta-horror franchise, which hasn't seen a new installment since Scream 4 in

2011. The film pushes self-referentiality to its extreme in order to joke on its status as a

possible decades-later cash-in, while also brokering a joyful reunion with its beloved original
