ANDREW GARFIELD REMEMBERS NOT BEING 'HANDSOME ENOUGH' FOR NARNIA ROLE!

Andrew Garfield is now enjoying the record-breaking success of "Spider-Man: No Way Home," which is his third time playing the web-slinger on the big screen. "Spider-Man" wouldn't have been Garfield's only major Hollywood franchise if his career had gone as planned. When he was first starting out in Hollywood, Garfield told Entertainment Tonight that he was "desperate" to join Disney's "Chronicles of Narnia" franchise as Prince Caspian, but the casting crew supposedly thought he didn't have the right look.
"Why not me?" Garfield questioned his agent after he was passed over for the part. "It's because they don't believe you're handsome enough, Andrew," she finally said after breaking under my constant nagging.
Garfield was gaining his acting start during the time the first two "Chronicles of Narnia" films were being developed and released, with a praised lead performance in John Crowley's 2007 drama "Boy A" and supporting roles in "Lions for Lambs" and "The Other Boleyn Girl." His worldwide breakthrough came in 2010 with back-to-back roles in the dramas "Never Let Me Go" and "The Social Network," and he made his Spider-Man debut in Sony's "The Amazing Spider-Man" in 2012.
