The Broadway revival of “The Music Man” has been one of the most awaited shows this year, although it has limped along without its co-star Sutton Foster. But now the show is being shut down until the new year because Hugh Jackman has also tested positive for the coronavirus. Hugh Jackman took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the news of his covid diagnosis stating that it has forced him to cancel all performances of his Broadway show and he says that even though his symptoms are quite mild with only having a scratchy throat and a runny nose, he still needs to be quarantined.

The musical also announced on Tuesday on its official Twitter that all performances are canceled through January 1st, with them expecting to return to the stage at the Winter Garden Theater on January 2nd.
