Megan Thee Stallion received the Humanitarian Award from the 18th Congressional District in Houston on Sunday (Dec. 12). The Hero Award is awarded for exceptional individuals that truly exhibit humanity and help even without being asked to.

The "Savage" rapper dedicated her Hero Award to the remembrance of her late grandma. "I'm really honored," she added with a smile as if she didn't think the "obligation to take care of the city that took care of me" was something she took seriously.The ceremony was only one part of a busy weekend for the Texas native, who also received her bachelor's degree on Saturday (Dec. 11). Texas Southern University in Houston awarded her a bachelor's degree in health sciences.

Both accomplishments follow Megan's hilarious holiday duet with Jimmy Fallon and Ariana Grande, "It Was a... (Masked Christmas)," which was released last week and included a music video featuring the trio.
