Charlie Puth has given his followers an unfavorable health report. On Wednesday night, the "See You Again" singer rushed to Twitter to inform that he had tested positive for COVID-19, but that he was on the mend.
The musician claimed that he was disclosing the information in order to encourage others to take extra precautions with their health in the face of the pandemic. Puth's diagnosis comes after a string of celebrities testing positive for COVID-19 in recent weeks, as pandemic precautions have been gradually eased across the country.
After Erika Jayne, Garcelle Beauvais, and Lisa Rinna tested positive, production on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was halted this week. Doja Cat also disclosed on Sunday that she had contracted COVID-19 and that she had opted to cancel the remaining iHeartRadio Jingle Ball shows.
