Producer Amy Pascal confirmed that Venom 3 is already in the works, which means Tom Hardy's Venom will have yet another sequel. The producer of Spider-Man: No Way Home stated in an interview with Collider that a Venom sequel is already in the works.
In the 2018 Spider-Man spin-off, Tom Hardy played Venom for the first time. The film tells the story of Eddie Brock, an investigative journalist, and serves as the genesis story for the Venom symbiote, an extraterrestrial parasitic creature that takes up home in Eddie. Venom: Let There Be Carnage, the new sequel to Venom, has surely opened the door for additional Venom films. Despite poor reviews from critics, the film went on to earn $483 million at the box office, making it the sixth highest-grossing picture of 2021.
With a $90 million opening weekend, the picture set a new pandemic record. With the film performing exceptionally well for a pandemic release, Venom 3 appears to be a sure thing. It's unclear whether Venom will feature in No Way Home. However, with Venom 3 in the works, Tom Hardy's stint as Eddie Brock appears to be far from ended.
