BTS is taking some well-deserved time off. According to a statement from the septet's music company, Big Hit, the K-pop phenomenon will take a break after completing their scheduled forthcoming engagements, which include the BTS Permission To Dance On Stage performances and the Jingle Ball Tour.

The Seoul-based company insists that this is only a pause, not the end of the world. The members of BTS took a multi-week hiatus in late 2019 and returned with all guns blazing. The group will require another "long period of recuperation" in order to be "re-inspired and recharged with creative energy," according to the statement.

Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook pump the brakes when they’re at the front of the pack. BTS has gone where no other K-pop group has gone before, with five Billboard 200 chart No. 1s and five Hot 100 chart leaders.
