Kanye West has taken another step towards his goal of "freeing the old man."Ye officially confirmed plans for his previously anticipated Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert on Saturday, which would take place on Dec. 9 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and feature his now-defunct foe Drake as a "special guest."

The event's poster was posted on the influencer's Instagram profile with the comment "God's plan." The performance is intended to "raise awareness and support for Larry Hoover and the cause of jail and sentencing reform," according to a description on the venue's website. This will be Drake's first public performance since his canceled attendance at Astroworld Festival 2021 will be at the "Free Larry Hoover" fundraiser concert. Certified Lover Boy, his most recent album, was released earlier this year, as was Ye's full-length Donda.
