AMBER HEARD UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR PERJURY!

According to E! News sources, the Australian Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment is "investigating allegations of perjury by Ms. Heard during court hearings for the 2015 illegal importation of (her) two canines into Australia."

The probe stems from a 2015 incident in which she attempted to unlawfully enter the nation with her and her then-husband, Johnny Depp's Yorkshire terriers, Pistol and Boo.

"The department is seeking witness statements," the spokeswoman added, "and once acquired, the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions will determine whether the evidence is adequate to warrant prosecution of the matter."

Part of Johnny Depp's libel suit against a British newspaper that alleged he lied under oath after being charged with illegal importation. The charge carries a maximum punishment of ten years in prison. Heard pled guilty to a lesser charge of fabricating documents to enter the nation with the dogs.

Her lawyer said to the courts that she was jetlagged and worried about a hand injury allegedly caused by Depp, so she delegated the work to her aides. The actress made a "tired, awful error," the lawyer told the judge. She was issued a $1,000 bail for good behavior.
