Zayn Malik's record label, RCA, is said to have dropped him, as a result of the aftermath of Yolanda Hadid's assault charges against him. A senior music source reportedly said, "A lot of people have tried desperately to bring Zayn's life and career back on track, but nothing has worked."
The person explained that so many of Zayn’s collaborators have “simply given up.” "Controlling or guiding him is nearly impossible. His label had secretly determined that their partnership was coming to an end a time ago, and now this." Malik quit One Direction in 2015, and his first solo album, Mind Of Mine, was a commercial success. In 2021, however, his third album, titled ironically Nobody Is Listening, was a massive disappointment.
According to a police complaint, Malik is facing four felony charges of harassment after allegedly grabbing ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid's mother Yolanda and slamming her "against a dresser causing mental anguish and physical injury." On Wednesday, the musician reportedly pleaded no contest to the charges after "adamantly" denying that anything physical happened between him and Yolanda.
