The Golden Ticket belongs to Timothée Chalamet! In a series of Instagram photographs over the weekend, the actor astonished fans with a first look at himself in full costume as Willy Wonka in an upcoming prequel about the legendary character, including his signature top hat and purple coat. Timothée revealed in his comment that he couldn't wait to offer fans a sneak glimpse at the upcoming film, referencing Gene Wilder, his Wonka predecessor. He joked, "The suspense is dreadful; I hope it lasts." 

The film named ‘Wonka’ is to be released in March 2023. the movie which is adapted by the late author, Roal Dahl’s 1964 children's classic ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is also set to cast a renowned set of actors such as Olivia Colman, Matt Lucas, and Rakhee Thakrar. This is the 3rd adaptation of the book following the 2005 edition of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in which Johnny Depp played the role of Willy Wonka.
