Nicolas Cage recently talked about the odds of him retiring from acting. He assured his fans that it "can't happen." He went on to explain that what he does in cinema has been "like a guardian angel" for him, and therefore he will not stop. 

He went on to explain that he is healthier and happier when he is working, and filmmaking brought him that joy. Cage also explained that it is important that he pursues films that keep him "interested" as he grows older. Although, he confirmed that after he finishes his next two movies, he is going to take some time off since he believes it is "time to recharge."
