SPACEX SENDS ANTS, AVOCADOS, AND A ROBOTIC ARM TO THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION!

On Sunday (29TH August, 2021), a SpaceX cargo shipment of ants, avocados, and a human-sized robotic arm was launched into the International Space Station. The company's 21st rocket of the year, a refurbished Falcon rocket, launched from NASA's Kennedy Space Center and successfully delivered a robotic Dragon cargo spacecraft to the ISS before successfully landing at sea. The first-stage rocket landed upright on SpaceX's newest ocean platform, "A Shortfall of Gravitas," after lifting the Dragon spacecraft.

The Dragon was carrying more than 2,170 kilograms of supplies and experiments, as well as fresh food for the space station's seven astronauts, including avocados, lemons, and even ice cream. A number of organisations had sent samples to be subjected to weightlessness and other tests, including The Girl Scouts of USA and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
