Everyone’s favourite workplace comedy is back! The iconic TV series, The Office served as a major influence over the sitcom fandom and eight years after its finale aired, the studio behind the project decided to go ahead and give fans that which they yearned for, a reboot.

NBC Universal Chairman of Entertainment, Susan Rovner, stated “Whenever Greg Daniels wants to do one, we’re standing by,” officially green-lighting the project and letting the show’s creator know that the ball is in his court.

Daniels, who helmed and produced the US adaptation of Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s original series, had been occupying himself with other projects such as Parks & Recreations and even reunited with Steve Carell for a new show Space Force. He replied to Rovner’s statement, “It’s not impossible for sure.”
