Prince Harry's upcoming memoir is going to benefit charity, in addition to giving us a perspective on his life’s highs and lows.
Recently while the Prince attended a polo match for Sentebale, a charity foundation co-founded by the Duke of Sussex and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, announced he will be donating a portion of his memoir's proceeds to the charity. He promised $1.5 million and stated “This is one of several donations I plan to make to charitable organizations and I'm grateful to be able to give back in this way for the children and communities who gravely need it."
Upon the announcement, the foundation voiced their gratitude to the Duke’s contribution and stated that it “will allow the organization to continue operating at full scale and continue providing critical services to at-risk youth in Southern Africa." Sentebale was created to help children affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Lesotho, Botswana, and Malawi.
