K-Pop super group BTS just confirmed that they have to cancel their Map Of The Soul world tour. The tour was originally set to start last April, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, due to the prevailing situation around the world and the risk of COVID-19, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook announced that the tour has been called off.
BTS’s label Bighit Entertainment stated, “Our company has worked hard to resume preparations for the BTS Map Of The Soul tour, knowing that all fans hae been waiting eagerly and long for the tour. However, due to changing circumstances beyond our control, it has become difficult to resume performances at the same scale and timeline as previously planned. Therefore we must announce the cancellation of the BTS Map Of The Soul tour.”
BTS along with their label offered their “sincere apology” to “all fans who have waited for the BTS Map Of The Soul tour to resume.”
