Netflix has finally announced the release date for the final season of the much loved Lucifer series! The news was announced via Instagram, and stated that the season will be available on the 10^th of September, 2021.

Tom Ellis, who plays Lucifer, took to Instagram to share the news with all the fans, and captioned the photo “the end is nigh!” The post came with a teaser, that included footage from the previous three seasons, showing characters in specific events.

The show has been extremely popular and much loved ever since the first season was released, and Lucifer is everybody’s favourite. It portrays a rather modern and urbanized form of Lucifer, who owns the LUX nightclub, solves murder mysteries with a LAPD detective Chloe. The show was originally created for Fox in 2016, and is based on The Sandman creator Neil Gaiman’s DC comics character.
