Reese Witherspoon announced that she sold her production company Hello Sunshine for $900 million! The company produced fan-favorite shows like The Morning Show, Big Little Lies, and Little Fires Everywhere. 

Reese announced the news through a press release and spoke about the idea behind starting the company. “I started this company to change the way all women are seen in media. Over the past few years, we have watched our mission thrive through books, TV, film, and social platforms.”

Reese also announced who the venture will be led by – Kevin Mayer and Tom Staggs, two entertainment executives who are backed by the investment company Blackstone. Though Reese is selling the company, she will still be involved in the day-to-day operations of the business.
