Dwayne Johnson took to Instagram to thank fans for making his new movie Jungle Cruise top the global box office with $61.8M and $30M from streaming revenue on Disney+.

This revenue comes even though critics did not give very positive feedback on the film. In fact, most of them seemed unimpressed by the movie, which had a budget of $200M. According to critics, the movie had an “overstuffed plot”, but they say that the movie is “not as lifeless” as other attempts to turn theme park attractions into movies.

Dwayne Johnson uploaded a video on Instagram, saying “For those of you who went or watched it from your living room and created a big experience in your living room, I want to thank you guys so much.” He continued and explained that “These numbers are coming in and they’re pretty good,” and that he wants to thank everyone for the support.
