Olivia Rodrigo visited the White House to meet with President Joe Biden and his chief COVID-19 medical advisor, Dr. Anthony Fauci. At first, everyone was confused as to why the “Good 4 U” singer was meeting with the administration, but now it is explained that the meeting was arranged to encourage young people to get vaccinations.

Biden took to his instagram to share a photo of him in his youth, captioned “I know this young person would’ve gotten vaccinated, but we’ve got to get other young people protected as well. Who’s willing to help?” to which Olivia commented, “I’m in! see you tomorrow at the white house!”

Olivia will play a part in this effort by recording videos “about the importance of young people getting vaccinated.” She will also answer “important questions young people have about getting the vaccine.”
