BILLIE EILISH, THE WEEKND, LIZZO AND OTHER MUSICIANS TO PERFORM A 24-HOUR VIRTUAL BENEFIT FOR GLOBAL CITIZEN LIVE!

Global Citizen got the support of celebrities and activists all over the world for 24-hours of non-stop defending the planet and fighting poverty!
They held a 24-hour virtual event with performances broadcasting live from six continents and will be held on Saturday, 25th September. The musical guests that are set to perform include Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, Lizzo, BTS, Shawn Mendes, Lorde, Doja Cat, H.E.R., Ed Sheeran, Usher, Coldplay, and many more.
The event is a part of Global Citizen’s Recovery Plan for the World campaign, which is a campaign to end COVID-19, and is also a part of their ongoing campaign to get businesses to use their resources “to protect and restore at least 1 billion trees by 2022 to curb climate change; and provide meals for more than 40 million people on the brink of starvation.”
