The game “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” is getting a new free update which will optimize the game for next-gen consoles which is dropping sometime this very year and here’s the best part, it is going to include DLC which is taken from the Netflix show! This was also confirmed by the developer “CD Projekt” at WitcherCon!

Not much was told about what the DLC would actually look like, however, we did get a little sneak peek of what to expect, and here's what it is: you might be able to wear Geralt’s armor inspired by the Netflix series,” said Philipp Weber who is the quest designer at CD Projekt Red during WitcherCon.

Furthermore, Netflix announced that the second season of the show will launch on the 17th of December and a bonus prequel which is animated called the “Nightmare of the Wolf” will be dropping on the 23rd of August.

The studio initially announced that the next-gen update for PS5, Xbox Series X / S, and PC is in the works since September of 2020, promising that it would bring a myriad of visual and technical improvements!
