Britney Spears has not performed on stage since 2018 and says she will refuse to do so until her father is removed from her conservatorship. But now – is she retiring for good?

Britney’s manager, Larry Rudolph, who has represented her for over 25 years, recently wrote a letter to her father, Jamie Spears, which he calls his “formal resignation” letter. It stated, “It has been over two-and-a-half years since Britney and I last communicated, at which time she informed me she wanted to take an indefinite work hiatus. Earlier today, I became aware that Britney had been voicing her intention to officially retire.

“And as her manager, I believe it is in Britney’s best interest for me to resign from her team as my professional services are no longer needed.”
