On Thursday, Amber Heard announced the birth of her baby girl, named Oonagh Paige Heard! She posted a picture of the two on Instagram, with her newborn resting on her chest. The baby was born via a surrogate, as Heard explained that doctors told her that she was unable to carry a child of her own.

“I’m so excited to share this news with you. Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my terms.” She explained in her caption. “A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone’s business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this. My daughter was born on April 8, 2021. Her name is Oonagh Paige Heard. She’s the beginning of the rest of my life.”

Heard is currently in a relationship with cinematographer Bianca Butti, and she is still in the middle of a physical assault case that Johnny Depp has against her.
