Despite the controversial case between Amber Heard and her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, the actress has defied all odds and proved her haters wrong when she was welcomed back as Mera on the set on Zack Snyder's Justice League. Heard was adamant on showing those who were out for her that nothing could touch her, going to lengths as drastic as posing in costume on Instagram and other gloats.

Aquaman 2 is set to begin filming sometime next month hence the initial phases of the project are underway including necessary quarantining for everyone involved with the production. Amber Heard took to Instagram to reveal that she too began her quarantine when she posted a picture of a note sent by film director, James Wan, which said: "Welcome back to Atlantis". 

Very little is known about the movie's storyline, however, the star-studded cast from the preceding motion picture will be returning to their roles once more with a few additions to the team, including Game of Thrones' Pilou Asbæk. The film's current release date is set for December 2022.
