Britney Spears went to court on Wednesday, 24th June to testify about her conservatorship, and fans and celebrities around the world showed her support.

This testimony was the first one she had the opportunity to share with the public on her own.

In her testimony, she talked about how she was manipulated and controlled and forced to do things she did not want to do and was not allowed to do things she wanted to do. She told the judge about how she was not allowed to marry or even have any more children, unless her father accepted it, as per the conservatorship. Therefore she requested that if the conservatorship can’t be ended, that they would at least allow her to be the one in charge of her fortune.

Among celebrities that showed her support was her notorious ex Justin Timberlake, who stated, “Regardless of our past, good and bad, and no matter how long ago it was… what’s happening to her is just not right.

Jess and I send our love, and our absolute support to Britney during this time. We hope the courts and her family make this right and let her life however she wants to live.”

Other celebrities are Mariah Carey, Khloe Kardashian, Olympic figure-skater Adam Rippon, and radio presenter and activist Jameela Jamil, which is just a few among many.
