The sky is the limit as to where Cardi B can go and she is using her potential to the best of her abilities! Her involvement in the $6 billion Fast & Furious franchise was revealed at the beginning of the year and recently the New Yorker spoke about how she was roped into production and her character Leysa’s role in the upcoming motion picture.

Unlike Iggy Azalea’s brief cameo in Furious 7, Cardi will be having a more personal connection to the rag-tag team of racers we all grew up with. She opened up about how lead actor and producer Vin Diesel had reached out to her “about a role” to which she immediately agreed. Cardi went onto mention how excited she is to represent the “powerful, strong woman” that is the character of Leysa.

A minute-long teaser showed the 28-year-old strutting on-set with co-star Diesel in a white dress as well as the rapper chilling indoors and rocking a black jumpsuit along with the various vehicles featured in the film. 

Fast & Furious 9 is set to hit theaters on 25 June 2021.
