Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos announces that he will be flying to space with his brother next month. The news was announced through an instagram post, captioned “Ever since I was five years old, I’ve dreamed of traveling to space. On July 20th, I will take that journey with my brother. The greatest adventure, with my best friend.”

Jeff Bezos founded Blue Origin in 2000. It is an American privately funded aerospace manufacturer and sub-orbital spaceflight services company, and now employing an incremental approach from suborbital to orbital flight.

The trip to space will take place on 20th July, and Jeff Bezos will be among the first ever passengers in Blue Origin’s New Shepard spacecraft alongside his brother, the crew and the winner of the bid for the first seat on New Shepard, which is going on till the 20th of July. The charity bid drew in 6,000 participants, and the top bid jumped from $2.8 million to $3.2 million after Jeff Bezos announced he would also be on board. The current highest bid stands at $3.5 million.
