Six months ago, the Prince of Persia: The sands of time remake which was created by Ubisoft was supposed to launch, and again we learn that the release date has further been pushed back and this time till 2022!
Not only is the game not dropping until later, but you will also not see Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time at the Ubisoft Forward E3 2021 showcase.
It was confirmed On Twitter as well, as the official prince of Persia account tweeted that the sands of time remake will not be making it to the Ubisoft forward however, they’re making great progress with the game to be released next year but for right now that’s all the information they’re ready to give out.
The initial release was pushed back from January to March due to the prevalence of the covid-19 pandemic towards the end of last year and this February, it was pushed back to a “later date” because the team wanted more time to give out the best remake of the game which still stays true to the original.
It is quite weird to see these long delays as the remake is a relatively low-profile one.
