Word around the Upper East Side is that Gossip Girl is back and the official teaser trailer for the show is here and it looks super good already!

Before the release of the trailer all we knew was that the new show is premiering in July but now, we have an exact date and it is the 8th of July.

The stars of the new series are Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Thomas Doherty, Tavi Gevinson, Emily Alyn Lind, Evan Mock, Zion Moreno, Whitney Peak, and Savannah Lee Smith.

Here’s what you can expect to see in the revival of the series: you’re going to be taken back to the Upper East Side where the newbies of the New York private school are being introduced to social surveillance nine whole years after the original gossip girl went dark. This new revival of gossip girl exhibits how much social media and the entire landscape of New York itself have changed over the nine years.

Even though the cast has changed, what hasn’t changed is the gossip girl's voice! Kristen Bell is coming back as the voice-over of gossip girl. Eric Daman is also coming back as the costume designer for the show.
