Ever wanted to play the last of us on PS5 at 60 frames per second? Well, you are in luck as Sony has announced that The Last of Us Part 2 is getting a patch on the PlayStation 5 that allows you to do just that!

Essentially, after you install patch 1.08 for The Last of Us part 2 on your PlayStation 5, you will come across a toggle which you can find in the display options that will enable you to pick between 30FPS or 60 FPS. As a whole, this will let you pick a framerate that you most like that compliments the rest of the boosts that are a part of the PS5 backward compatibility with PS4 games, like improved resolution and accelerated load times for example.

In addition to that, Sony is also working on a remake of The Last of Us which is intended for the PlayStation 5 as the first release was all the way back in 2013 for the PS3 and following that came the remaster in 2014 for PS4 so its time for the new era of the last of us on PS5!
