Janet Jackson has partnered up with Julien’s Auctions to sell a whopping one thousand personal treasures from her entire career! The proceeds that were received through the auction went out to an organization called compassion international which assists children who are in poverty.

The event which was the “Iconic Treasures from the Legendary Career and Life of Janet Jackson” auction was held on Janet Jackson’s 55th birthday which fell on Sunday the 16th of May.

In light of the iconic Janet Jackson’s birthday Kim Kardashian celebrated by making the winning bid at the Auction for one of Janet’s iconic outfits, a custom made top and pants as well that she wore in the 1993 music video to her single called “IF” which was 25,000 dollars as confirmed by a tweet sent out by Julien’s auctions

Kim further went on to Instagram stories to share that she won Jackson’s (who she is a massive fan of) outfit with a small clip of the music video and a picture of Janet Jackson originally rocking the outfit. She even said that she couldn’t believe she won it either!

In addition to that, Janet Jackson too expressed her excitement on her Instagram stories and replied to Kim saying "Thank u so much @kimkardashian! I hope 'IF' gives u as much pleasure as it did me."
