Through the last decade, Henry Cavill served as the perfect Man Of Steel, with and without the mustache! However, with the turn of events this year and the release of the much-anticipated ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’, WB seems to be looking towards hiring a more diversified team in their next DCEU project and switching things up with the character of Superman.

Earlier this year, J.J. Abrams was announced to produce the film along with ‘Black Panther’ comic’s writer Ta-Nehisi Coates as scriptwriter and rumors circled that Michael B. Jordan will be playing the Kryptonite. WB revealed in a new report that the new Superman film will feature a Black Man Of Steel and that they are committed to hiring a Black director as well.

Given that Marvel Studio’s upcoming Blade reboot is on the horizon means an added obstacle to the DCEU as both studios are considering similar directors for their productions.
