This brand-new game that is coming to Nintendo switch not only lets you play it but also lets you build yourself!

Nintendo unveiled that the game is called “Game builder garage” which is essentially created to teach beginners the basics of designing a game and programming. It makes use of visual programming, has in-built tutorials and games.

It seems to be based off of some new ideas that were featured on Nintendo’s previous projects such as the DIY series of Labo experiences and Super Mario Maker. Visual programming language that uses adorable characters called nodon that can walk around and delegate properties to, are also available. For example, when you put in a character node, you’re allowed to attach a stick node and assign the joystick switches to control left & right motions!

And exactly like Super Mario Maker, gamers can instantly move back and forth with ease between building and playing all to be able to quickly iterate on fresh ideas. In addition to that, the app features a myriad of different control options like Joycon controllers, touchscreen, or a USB mouse.

Players can also share the games that they’ve created through a code that can be sent to other players. However, you will need a Nintendo switch online connection and once you download another players game, you can play it and see how it was designed too which you can make a copy of and build on it.
