Soul is still making big waves! This Disney/Pixar animated movie was awarded not one, but two academy awards which makes it the first movie in history of the Disney+ streaming service.

Not only did the movie make history because of its wins at the annual academy award show but also because of Jamie Foxx as he was the first African American actor to be cast as the lead in a Pixar movie.

The two trophies that the movie received was for the best animated feature film and best original score which they also won at the golden globes in 2021. 

By far, Soul is the 11^th best animated feature for Pixar and it comes in at about number 14 for Disney. In addition to that, it reins in as the third best animated feature for Pete Docter who is the director of the film.
