Grossing $375 million worldwide at the box office, Spider-man: Into The Spider-Verse was nothing short of a surprise when it was released in 2018.

Marvel Entertainment seemed to up the ante recently by recruiting Avatar: The Last Airbender’s Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers who worked as co-director and writer for Pixar’s Soul and Justin K. Thompson, to overcome the high bar set by their predecessors.

The animated film is on track to be released by October 2022.
