Discord, a social media company popular with gamers who chat with one another while playing, and has a platform of over 100 million active users. Discord has held deal talks with tech giants Microsoft for a business deal that could be around $10 billion.

Microsoft has strengthened its gaming business with deal making. Many of its acquirements in recent years have aimed on online communities, to mention a few of the leading tech firm’s purchases, LinkedIn, GitHub, and the gaming developer that created Minecraft.
