Selena Gomez has gifted us with some truly incredible music over the years.

From "The Heart Wants What It Wants" to "Same Old Love," and now, with her Spanish album, Revelación, dropping on Friday she’s been doing amazing things!

However, in an interview she mentioned that she wants to quit making music since she’s been having moments of self-reflection where she’s thought 'What’s the point? Why do I keep doing this?'

"I’ve had moments where I’ve been like, 'Lose You to Love Me' I felt was the best song I’ve ever released, and for some people, it still wasn’t enough." Said Selena.

"I think there are a lot of people who enjoy my music, and for that I’m so thankful, for that I keep going, but I think the next time I do an album, it’ll be different. I want to give it one last try before I maybe retire music."

It looks like she wants to veer more into acting though.

She said, "I need to be careful," while elucidating the fact that she wants to spend more time producing and giving herself "a real shot at acting."

Well, as much as we’d love for Selena to continue making music, seeing her in more movies doesn’t seem like such a loss either!
