Ed Sheeran is celebrating his birthday by switching the game and giving fans a gift this year - NEW MUSIC!

Ed took to Instagram to thank fans for their birthday love and extra special messages, and he also teased that a new album will be out this year. “30 today. Thank you for all your wonderful messages, I feel very loved. Currently dressed the same as I was on my 3rd birthday about to chow down on Colin the pirate caterpillar, poor bloke,” he captioned a post. “I’ll be back online with the 4th instalment in the series later this year, until then xx”

The “4th installment in the series” is touching on his previous album titles, with “-” (Subtract) being next in line. Ed has already released “+” (Plus), “x” (Multiply) and “÷” (Divide).

Ed‘s last album launch was his collab album No.6 Collaborations Project in 2019 and before that, “÷” which was released in 2017. He also just dropped his latest hit single “Afterglow” back in December!
