Final Fantasy XIV will soon be out on PlayStation 5, developer Square-Enix announced Friday. An open beta will start on April 13th.

A teaser trailer shows the game running in 4K resolution, and so the company says it'll have considerably enhanced frame rates and faster load times. If you’re registered within the PS4 version of the sport, the new optimized versions are going to be playable at no extra cost during the beta.

When Final Fantasy XIV was initially out in 2010, the game got so many backlashes from players and critics that its original director and producer left the project, and the developer shut down its servers in 2012. It relaunched in 2013 as Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
